| source: Hindu Jagruti, March 7, 2007 Panvel: A three day prayer meeting organised by Believers Church in New Panvel area, to convert Hindus by duping them was cancelled after Hindu Janajagruti Samiti and devout Hindus protest. Believers church is spreading misinformation among the Hindus to convert them into Christianity and they had tried to lure people to the prayer meeting and had clamed that praying to Jesus would help them recover from AIDS and cancer. HJS also lodged the complaint with Kalamboli Police against the organization for spreading superstition and misinformation. |
