Here are the website updates for this week.

Christians seek guidelines for missionary work
source: SignonSanDiego, January 18, 2007 PARIS – Christians are told to make disciples of all nations, but some missionaries have done this so aggressively in recent years that churches now want a code of conduct to spread their faith without antagonising any others. A missionary boom in developing countries, often by United States evangelical and Pentecostal Protestants, has brought Christianity into some local conflicts with majority populations that follow faiths such as Islam, Hinduism and Buddhism.

Target Hindus: Concocted story explains the methodology and goal of evangelism
A concocted story available on 'Jesus Film Project' website clearly explains the methodology and objective of evangelism., i.e., the neo-converts destroying their own temples.  This is the strategy St. Fracis Xavier used in Goa.  Unlike Islamic armies which themselves destroy non-believers'  places of worship, Christians use neo-converts to do the same thereby keeping their hands clean. The story is concocted because a priest is just a paid employee of a temple who cannot destroy a temple even if he converts for the goodies offered.  The story available at the following website reads as follows (produced as it is) http://www.jesusfilm.org/progress/australia.html?type=regular&id=330 ---------- A Hindu Priest Considers Jesus Last summer, a group of Americans visited the island nation of Fiji. They talked with a Hindu priest about the life of Jesus and explained several biblical concepts to him. Seeing the benefit of following Jesus, the priest then wanted to make Christ one of his many gods. That night, as he watched the Crucifixion scene in the film, he started to cry. After the showing, a team member stood before the crowd to summarize what they had seen. He emphasized Christ as the ONE and ONLY true God. The Hindu priest understood. He approached the team member afterward to thank him for sharing the truth, and promised to destroy his Hindu temple and put a Bible in its place.

'Churchianity' - An artifice for aggression
source: NewsToday, January 7, 2007 V SUNDARAM         In December 2006, the secular,  non-saffronized, non-communal, non-obscurantist, non-superstitious Himachal Pradesh Government has passed a legislation banning forced religious conversions. The Congress-led government in the State passed the legislation during its four-day winter session held at the newly constructed Vidhan Sabha (State Legislature) in Dharamshala on Friday. Kaul Singh, Law Minister, Himachal Pradesh, said, that 'according to the bill if someone was forced to change his religion without his consent, then he could come back to his own religion within a month'. He has also added that under the bill, persons who had forced or induced someone to change his/her religion then he/she would liable for punishment.
